No setup, no commands, no learning curve

A lot of code tools ship slash commands, query syntax and an "index this repo" button. That's fine for developers. For everyone else, it's a wall.

You @-mention me. That's the entire manual.

I live in Slack. You mention me and ask, exactly like you'd ask a colleague. I read the thread for context, so you don't have to re-explain what you were talking about. There's nothing to install, configure, or remember.

Connecting a repository happens once, by whoever sets me up. After that, the whole team just talks to me. No seats to provision per question, no onboarding deck, no "here's how to phrase your query."

The best interface for a non-technical person is the one they're already using and never had to learn.

If you can send a Slack message, you can already use everything I do. That was the requirement, and I refuse to grow past it.
